Chapter Four

24.12.
 
She woke up slowly when she felt a hand running through her hair.

“Samu?” she mumbled trying to open her eyes. A small giggle was heard and she felt cold feet slipping under the blanket.
“Nope. But I wish I had your dreams!” again Lilly giggled. “So tell me, was he good?”
Pushing her away, Elena blushed. “How long have you been sitting here?”
Lilly grinned. “Well, I assume long enough to see and hear the pleasure you just had in your dream! Hell, sis! What did he do to you? You were screaming his name, left alone all the other noises you made!”
Burying her burning face in her pillow, Elena pushed her again. “Get the hell out of my room, you little nag!” she mumbled, making her sister laugh even louder.
“Hell, this guy must be good! Did you even think about Rob?”
“I said out!” Elena lifted her head, pointing at the door. “OUT!”
“Alright, alright!” Lilly raised her hands defensively. “Go back to your dream and let this hulk shag you senseless!” giggling she left the room, leaving Elena completely puzzled and speechless.
24.12. Christmas.

It took a long hot shower for her to stop herself from shivering. ‘It was not real!’ she repeated in her thoughts, but she felt goosebumps all over her body when his hands came to her mind. God, it had felt so damn good! She knew she cared a lot about Rob and sometimes the Doc was quite imaginative but the feelings from last night had been different from anything she had ever experienced with a man. It had been so passionate!
Well, of course it had been perfect! Cursing silently Elena wrapped a towel around her body and started to rub her hair. It had been her dream, so of course Samu knew everything she needed. Yet she wondered how she could have climaxed in her dream. She had never reached an orgasm during sex and it made her wonder, how this was supposed to be possible for a woman in her dreams. Brushing her teeth, she avoided looking at her reflection in the mirror, a rush of shame running through her but she tried to shove the feeling aside. Maybe there was something missing in her life and her subconsciousness actually wanted to show her that she should take a risk and make a few changes. Still deep in her thoughts she got dressed and made her way downstairs. Perhaps she should talk to her mother about it in private first. She had always been the best address to give advices, although Elena hesitated to tell her about the sex she had just experienced.
When she entered the kitchen she found Lilly and Caitlyn preparing caramelized apples and sat down on the small kitchen table next her sister to help her cutting some more fruits. Her mother smiled at her and dried her hands with a small towel before she handed her a cup of coffee. “So, dear, Lilly just told me that you had another dream.” She couldn’t help grinning when her daughter blushed.
“Not only a dream!” Lilly smirked. “I heard her enjoying it through the wall!”
“You are such a...” Elena stared at her and gritted her teeth. Then she sighed. “Well, actually I wanted to talk about it with you in private, Mum, but since Lilly seems too amused about this whole dream thing,... well,” again she sighed. “What d’you think? I mean, I come back to the same place every night, I meet the same people, this Samu-guy is my husband and well, we... we kinda were out last night and... we ended up in bed and...” blushing she sipped her coffee. “Well, it was great! I never felt this way before! So what d’you think?”
Her mother sat down at the opposite side of the table. “Well, what d’you think? D’you have any idea what this whole dream’s supposed to mean for you?”
With a half-hearted grin Elena looked at her. “The typical shrink! What d’you think about it?” she imitated her mother and tucked up her legs, putting the cup to her cheek. “I don’t know, Mum! Maybe there’s something missing in my life, that’s what I came up with. But... well, I have a nice work, I care about my boyfriend, I’m not unhappy, you know?”
“So d’you love him?”
“Whom?”
“Rob!”
“Well, I... I don’t know! As I said, I care about him but... I don’t know if that is enough to call it love!”
“Dear, it is simple: Either you love him, or you don’t. There’s no in-betweens after two years! So maybe your dreams want to show you that you... that you need something else! That you maybe need to be with someone else, you know? This guy from your dreams, what are your feelings towards him?”
Nervously Elena swallowed. “He’s nice.” She mumbled.
“Aaand?”
“Well, he... he gives me a good feeling! It is nice to be with him. He... he is so amiable and handsome, I feel safe with him! Maybe it’s... well he’s... he has this... I don’t know, male attitude, he’s tall and he... I don’t know, I feel so comfortable with him! It scares me.”
“So we have tall and your safety,” her mother raised her thumb and her index-finger. “We have handsome and amiable and male.” Looking at her daughter with a grin, she held her whole hand into the air, presenting it to her like a trophy. “Seems like you’re looking for something like that. And now you are projecting those feelings into this other guy, what was his name again?”
“Samu Haber.” Lilly answered quickly, putting a big piece of fruit into her mouth with a smirk. “Samu, the sexy beast, Haber.” She mumbled with her mouth full of apple.
“Would you please stop that? Hell, Lilly! This is embarrassing enough for me!” Elena put her head in her hands. “So what am I supposed to do now?”
“Well, dear,” her mother rubbed her back. “Maybe you should just take your time and think about what you really want in life. Everything will be sorted out one day, just give yourself some time, will you?”
Elena nodded slowly, running her fingers through her hair. “And what about those dreams? I mean, they kept coming for three nights in a row now!”
“Maybe they won’t return tonight, love! And if they do, just keep your eyes wide open and try to figure out, what this other man can give to you that no one else seems to give you.”
“Well, I know what that would be!” smirking Lilly poked her sister with her finger. “I heard it through concrete!”
“Sometimes I really hate you, you know that?” Elena slapped her. “Use earplugs for Christ’s sake!”
Giggling Lilly got up and combed her hair back with her fingers before she swept it up with a little elastic. “Know what?” excitedly she knocked on the wooden table. “Let’s go to my room, I got some of Sunrise Avenue’s music and a few interviews and pictures and stuff. Come on, let’s have a look!”
Reluctantly Elena got up as well. “I’m not sure if I should...”
“Ou come oooon! It’s gonna be fun!” Lilly grabbed her hand and dragged her outside.
For over an hour Elena sat next to her on the bed, watching interviews and videoclips, giggling along with her sister. She had to admit that it was fun, even though a shiver ran down her spine whenever she saw Samu. The memories of his hands and lips were still so close, it felt surrealistic but nevertheless she fell silent every time he was shown on the tapes.
“So this is their music, hum?” chuckling Elena leaned back after a while. “It’s not that bad.” Trying to concentrate on an interview with Riku she laughed. “He,” she pointed at the screen. “He is so funny! Always laid back and playing dumb, but deep inside he is so funny! He had to help me with my stockings in the car and we had a great laugh. That night he told me that he once stumbled across his own feet because he was so drunk and he broke his wrist!”
“I thought you didn’t know them!”
“Well, I don’t! It’s just what I remember from my dream. He!” excitedly she pointed at Raul and jumped up and down on the bed. “He is so great! The worst jokes, always something sexual, but when I was dancing with him, he blushed! Look at this smile! He is such a little player!”
“Where did you read all that?” Lilly looked up at her a little puzzled.
“Nowhere. It’s just the way they were last night.” Astounded Elena shrugged and pointed at Osmo. “He was a little shy, but by the end of the night we had to try our best to stop him from dancing at the counter and almost had to carry him. Hell, I wish I could have such a big lot of fun in real life!” staring down at the screen when Samu was interviewed, she started biting her nails. “God! I can’t believe that I had sex with this man in my dream! God, Lilly, this stays between us, ok? He is sooo damn good!” she rolled her eyes. “I mean, those hands! Wow!”
“Trust me, I have a great imagination, sis!” smirking Lilly switched over to the next interview. “So tell me, is he big? I mean really big?” she spread her arms, making Elena giggle.
“Well, yes, he actually is. But I was too drunk to tell you how big exactly.” Elena rubbed her eyes and yawned. “You’re quite a fan, aren’t you?” she changed the subject after a while. “I mean, you have all those interviews and pics and stuff.”
Now it was Lilly’s time to blush. “Hum... maybe a little.” Bashfully she grinned. “That’s why I keep repeating: Gimme those dreams!! God, I would kill for Raul, trust me! Just one night! Even in my dream! Grrrrrrrrrrr!”
“God, you are a sick woman!” Elena giggled. “Come on, sweety, let’s go downstairs and decorate the tree, it’s Christmas!”
Lilly got up as well, switching off her laptop. “Never tell anyone that I am a crazy Sunrise Avenue-fan, alright? I’m 23, this is getting embarrassing!”
“Only if you promise to use earplugs and stop talking about me and this Haber-guy in front of everyone!”
“Deal!” Lilly offered her hand to her sister. “But you have to keep telling me about it, will you?”
“Well, now that I know your secret, I might be more compliant to share mine!” Elena took her hand and winked at her.

It was a real Heikkinen Christmas and Elena enjoyed every minute of it. She even forgot about her dreams when she decorated the Christmas tree with Lilly and Jamie.
Later that evening they all took a walk to the church of the village and had a little snow fight on the way back home. Together with Kilian Elena helped her mother preparing dinner for them and when they all sat down around the table she couldn’t help smiling and thanking God for the family she had been born into.
“So Leni,” Lilly handed her an envelope with a big heart drawn on it. “This is for you.”
Excitedly Elena opened the envelope, taking out a ticket and a card.
“I thought you’d maybe like to see them once and when I found out that Ced got two tickets for the next concert in February, I had to give one of them to you. Actually I was supposed to give it to Allison, but luckily the concert wasn’t sold out yet, so I could get another ticket for her and now you will join us!” happily she smiled. “What d’you say? Front row, party night out with the girls?”
Elena chuckled. “I’m in!” she hugged her sister. “With you and Alli? Anytime!!”
 
The two girls were still giggling when they were brushing their teeth together that night. “You know,” Elena mumbled and spat out. “We’re gonna have the biggest party ever! All dressed up and stuff! Right after the concert we are heading for a club and we will dance it into pieces, I promise!”
“Yeah! And you will meet Haber and I will go home with Raul! That is gonna be soooo much fun!”
“Yah! Dream on, sis!”
“No, YOU dream on! Hell, his ears must be ringing! Just imagine, maybe he also had a few weird dreams during the last nights!”
“I don’t wanna piss off his girlfriend!” Elena felt her cheeks blushing. Actually she only wanted Lilly to tell her that Samu was single and it made her feel like a teenager with a crush on the hottest bloke at school.
Lilly grinned, knowing exactly what her sister was after. “Single, babes! Grab him!”
Chuckling Elena rinsed her mouth. “Of course! I will grab him and start a family!” quickly she kissed the younger woman’s cheek. “Night sis! Don’t forget the earplugs!”
“Already borrowed some from Lea!” her sister winked at her. “Make me proud!”
Elena was still giggling when she put on her nightie and slipped under the duvet. Although she felt like a crazy person because of her dreams she couldn’t help looking forward to how her dream would continue. It was like a daily soap and equally addicting. Sighing she closed her eyes, Samus picture on her mind. Hell, he was so handsome!
